To Maximize the Health of Your Show Animal:

  • Always provide plenty of fresh water
  • Allow animals to exercise daily
  • Control flies
  • Keep pens cleaned
  • Feed at the same time each day; animals are creatures of habit, and variable feeding times can cause bloat and going off feed
  •  Do not feed moldy or low quality hay
  • Keep feeders and water units clean
  • Complete vaccination program and deworming
  • Weigh you feed- do not guess, mark the buckets for easy measurement
  • Make feed adjustments gradually, over a 7-10 day period
